30/05/08 “ICH’ – – Justin Raimondo has a good column this morning on Antiwar.com. It is written as a fundraiser. But what it shows is that journalists (and whistle-blowers) who tell the truth in America are more likely to be pummeled than rewarded, whereas those who lie for powerful interest groups live high on the hog.

It wasn’t just Bush, Cheney, and the neoconservatives who deceived us into an illegal war in behalf of a hidden agenda. It was the American media. Raimondo names some of the culprits who are complicit in the deaths of some one million Iraqis, an unknown number of Afghans, and thousands of American soldiers.

It was all for a lie. A lie told by the President of the United States and his handmaidens in the media.

Two of the worst handmaidens, Billy Kristol and Thomas Friedman, have been rewarded for their treachery to America by the New York Times, which pays these men, who have never been right about anything, to pontificate from columns on its pages. Others, such as Peter Beinart, are installed at the Washington Post and other publications.

The impossible plane crash in the Pentagon

For those who still believe the official Conspiracy theory about what happened on the 11th of September 2001 and who still think a plane was flown into the Pentagon by a young Arab man who went by the name of Hani Hanjour I assembled then next master class on 911 truth.

The official story tells it as follows: On the morning of 911 19 hijackers hijacked four planes and without any trouble manage to fly these planes towards their targets in two of the most defended airspaces of the world.
While in the year 2000 some 160 planes had been scrambled i.e. had jets send to them because they deviated from courses or were incommunicado for a couple of minutes these four planes who showed all the signs of trouble such as transponder turned off, deviating from their flight paths, and no communication with their pilots were allowed to enter two no fly zones and crash into their targets with the exception of flight 93 who appeared to have crashed in Pennsylvania after the passengers tried to overpower the hijackers.

It’s fairly obvious that two planes crashed into the twin towers but there are few problems with the plane that allegedly crashed in the Pentagon.

  • The hijacker who it was alleged to have flown the plane into the Pentagon was unable to properly fly a Cessna.
Yet, we are to believe that he was able to fly a bloody great big 747 for almost two hours and crash it at full flying speed into the wall of the Pentagon without leaving a single mark on the lawn in front of the Pentagon.
  • Hani Hanjour who could barely fly a Cessna was able to make a manoeuvre with this huge passenger plane that a flight instructor with many years on these same planes could only copy in the flight simulator on the tenth attempt and none of his students could perform this manoeuvre at all. See here the flight simulator video made by a group called pilots for 911 truth. Their site is well worth visiting.
  • Hani Hanjour made this manoeuvre in order to hit the Pentagon in the opposite site to where he came from instead of just pointing the nose down and flying it straight into the Pentagon. If he had done so it would have hit the Pentagon on the site were Rumsfeld and all the higher up had their offices but by making this manoeuvre he hit a site which had just been strengthened to with stand just such an impact and was mostly empty, except for an accountant department which had just moved in after the renovation.
  • The whole that the plane left  after impact was a mere 16 feet  wide and there was no debris that looked like air plane parts.
  • Several witnesses, people who worked in the Pentagon and were military personnel  testified that they did not smell kerosene but cordite. They also testified to the fact that there was no big plane. None of this made the 911 rapport. You can find some of these people here
  • From the hundred or so video’s guarding the area all film material has been confiscated and only 6 frames of video have been released . They do not show a plane.
  • The official flight data, released to a group of pilots who were able to put this data together in a flight simulator does not match with the official story but it does fit together with a great many witness statements.

If this has made you curious I would suggest you watch this video, made by the pilots for 911 truth

Followed by this video made by a group of American citizens who work tiresly to document and verify all the witnesses they can find. This of course should have been part of a proper investigation but since this did not happen these people are the next best thing

Interview with an investment banker

Just in case you missed it. Investment bankers bet and speculate. In other words they are making money with money. When the banking world was about to collapse because the bet on packets of junk bonds, and were about to be caught out on it they changed their tack. They now bet and speculate on Oil and Food. This means that honest hard working New Zealanders like you and me have to pay through the nose for basic necessities so that a very small group of extremely greedy people can buy condo’s in Hawaii. This is how John Key made his 50 million dollars ladies and gentlemen.

If it wasn’t such a serious subject it would be funny.

If you want to know who this portrays than you have to look no further than the North Island.

The very man who wants to be the next prime minister, John Key made his money with this kind of speculation. According to his own website he was head of the European Bonds and Derivatives department during his tenure with Merrill Lynch.
This is excactly the trade that is now causing the worldwide subprime crisis and the collapse of the financial companies that so many hard working kiwis have put their money in.

Is this the man you want as the next prime minister?

According to the writer of Brasscheck TV:

Yes, it really is this bad

Another example of humor that is deadly accurate.I worked on Wall Street for a few years, elbow to elbow with “top” investment bankers. It was one big casino with the saps in pensions funds and savings and loans (and us) being used to finance the game and cover the losses.

The Great Oil Swindle

Still want to elect a Wall street banker as your prime minister maybe you should read this New Zealand. John Key was an upon invitation only advisor for the Banking cartel which owns the Federal Reserve in New York.

By Mike Whitney

30/05/08 “ICH” – – The Commodity Futures and Trading Commission (CFTC) is investigating trading in oil futures to determine whether the surge in prices to record levels is the result of manipulation or fraud. They might want to take a look at wheat, rice and corn futures while they’re at it. The whole thing is a hoax cooked up by the investment banks and hedge funds who are trying to dig their way out of the trillion dollar mortgage-backed securities (MBS) mess that they created by turning garbage loans into securities. That scam blew up in their face last August and left them scrounging for handouts from the Federal Reserve. Now the billions of dollars they’re getting from the Fed is being diverted into commodities which is destabilizing the world economy; driving gas prices to the moon and triggering food riots across the planet.

For months we’ve been told that the soaring price of oil has been the result of Peak Oil, fighting in Iraq, attacks on oil facilities in Nigeria, labor problems in Norway, and (the all-time favorite)growth in China. It’s all baloney. Just like Goldman Sachs prediction of $200 per barrel oil is baloney. If oil is about to skyrocket then why has G-Sax kept a neutral rating on some of its oil holdings like Exxon Mobile? Could it be that they know that oil is just another mega-inflated equity bubble—like housing, corporate bonds and dot.com stocks—that is about to crash to earth as soon as the big players grab a parachute?

Tony Blair: I want to spend my life uniting faiths

You have to give it to the guy. First he takes part in creating the greatest rift between Muslims, Christians and Jews since the Crusades and now he wants to help heal that rift again.
His own faith seems to have helped him perpetrate the most hideous wars against humanity and he didn’t tell anyone about it because he was afraid his voters might have thought he was a nut job. No kidding! Ya thunk! Somebody please get out that straight jacket already.

Tony Blair today said he wanted to devote the rest of his life to promoting understanding between the world’s religions.

The former prime minister recalled how his Christian faith gave him the strength to take tough decisions during his spell in Downing Street.

In his most detailed description of the central role of faith during his decade as prime minister, Blair said religion inspired him even when he thought he had little political support.

From producers to consumers: how rice farmers face catastrophe

Funny, we hear precious little about the global food crisis and the real reasons as to why food all of a sudden goes up in price. We only feel it in our wallet and we grumble. In fact most of us know as little as this rice grower. The difference is that we do have televisions and Newspapers while he has not. So while we can understand his ignorance I have trouble understanding ours. Why are we not informed by our mainstream  Media?

Could it be because they are no longer independent and if not isn’t it time we become the media ourselves again?

Just after dawn, Marlon Tayaban makes his way down the terraced paddies in Banaue, in the northern Philippines where the rice farmer has his home and fields.

It is a stunning vista. The steep, thin steps and strips of cultivated land mottle the mountain slopes in infinite shades of green. As the 36-year-old descends the narrow path, he is surrounded by rice as far as the eye can see. On one side is a flooded paddy full of light green shoots. Higher up the distant hillsides on the other side of the misty valley are darker fields almost ready for harvest. Every inch of land appears to be given over to rice.

It is hard to imagine a more abundant symbol of Asia’s most important crop. But Tayaban’s journey down the giant steps highlights the growing problem facing millions of small-scale farming families.

The farmer is on his weekly trip to the market, where he has to buy more food than he sells because his ability to produce children has far outpaced the capacity of his land to feed them.

Thirteen years ago, when Tayaban started tilling the paddies, he had two fields and two mouths to feed. Today he has no more land, but six children. The producer has had to become a consumer. That was not a problem when grain was cheap. But in the past year, global prices have tripled.

Telekom Accused of Tracking Journalists' Mobile Phone Signals

Still think Germany or the world for that matter has a free press.

The allegations against German telecommunications giant Deutsche Telekom just keep on coming. SPIEGEL has information that Telekom tracked journalists’ movements using mobile phone data. And the company may have hired ex-Stasi spies to help.

Allegations continue to mount against Deutsche Telekom.

New details continue to emerge on the spying scandal that has hit German telecommunication giant Deutsche Telekom. In addition to rifling through telephone records for a year from 2005 to 2006 to determine the extent of contacts between management and journalists, it now looks as though Telekom was also using mobile phone signals to keep track of their locations.

Torrential rains sweep western Europe

And why is this not in our new News papers? Could this be because they don’t want us to get too worried about the Global weather changes, with our cash crop monoculture and unsustainable dairy industry which will inevitably collapse in the next couple of years?

Italy declared a state of emergency in the north of the country Friday after flooding and mudslides left at least three people dead in heavy rains that also hit Belgium, Britain, France and Germany.

The state of emergency, which will enable aid to be speeded up to the affected regions of Piedmont and Valle d’Aosta, was decided at a cabinet meeting, the ANSA news agency said.

In Piedmont, where three people were killed and one was still missing, schools were closed in the town of Saviglano because of mudslides, and 30 people were evacuated from their homes in Demonte.

A mudslide in Villar Pelice near the city of Turin swept away a house, killing an old man inside it, civil protection authorities said. A second person was found dead in a car also caught up in the mudslide.

Spain, Italy, Portugal join French fishing strike over fuel prices

And why is this not on the front page of our corporate owned News papers?
Could it be because there is a conflict of interest and the powers would not want to have the fire of indignation over the speculative oil price rises stealing money from decent hard working people spread all over the globe? Could it be that the powers that be who successfully culled the unions in New Zealand fear a  revival of the workers unions?

Fishermen from Portugal, Italy and Europe’s largest fleet, Spain, began open-ended national strikes Friday, adding to growing continent-wide protests at the soaring price of fuel.

French fisherman have already been on strike for two weeks, disrupting cross-Channel ferry traffic and blocking oil facilities.

Organisers of the actions in Portugal and Spain claimed a 100 percent response to the strike call, whilst more than 10,000 Italian fishermen joined the strike, according to unions.

“Compliance is total. The entire Spanish coast is at a halt,” said Jose Caparros, a spokesman for the fishing industry in Barcelona.
