Classified document is said to warn that Pakistan is plotting to help reinstall Taliban once Nato-led forces depart
The Taliban, backed by Pakistan, are set to retake control of Afghanistan after Nato-led forces withdraw from the country, according to reports citing a classifed assessment by US forces.
The Times described the report as secret and “highly classified”, saying it was put together last month by the US military at Bagram air base in Afghanistan for top Nato officers. The BBC also carried a report on the leaked document.
“Many Afghans are already bracing themselves for an eventual return of the Taliban,” the report was quoted as saying. “Once Isaf (Nato-led forces) is no longer a factor, Taliban consider their victory inevitable.”
The document stated that Pakistan’s security agency was helping the Taliban in directing attacks against foreign forces – a charge long denied by Islamabad.

Eyre pointed out that the atomic bomb dropped on Afghanistan’s Tora Bora region was so powerful that it actually created an earthquake there.
The analyst went on to say that the use of such lethal weapons by US military, which is a gross violation of the Geneva Convention, has been sanctioned by the US presidents; thus they should be prosecuted for war crimes.
“In America, the ultimate commander in chief is the president,” Eyre said, adding that the President has the final say in using such weapons.

Here are my two cents on the coordinated evictions of the OWS encampments.
I totally support any resistance to the powers that be. I am a pacifist and hate violence but we are facing an enemy who was prepared to kill its own and people from other peaceful Nations living in the US in a false flag attack to be able to go to war and kill millions of peaceful people in countries such as Afghanistan, Iraq, Pakistan, Yemen and Somalia (Not to mention the “Humanitarian” bombings of Libya and the pending attacks on Sirya and Iran).
To expect to be able to protest this enemy and over throw the regime terrorising the US and much of the world in a peaceful manner is to expect Jesus to come down from the heavens and make the pain go away without having to do anything about it yourself.
I do believe that unless we face up to the true nature of the events of 911 and realise that the world we live in is ruled by truly evil people and that peaceful resistance will only work if the real 99% en masse refuses to further cooperate with these people we are doomed and that millions upon millions of people will die in horrible violent eruptions of murderous rage and frustration as people begin to realise how far we have come in the global fascist empire that is silently but inexorably being wrapped around us and ours to terrorise and enslave and kill.
I blame the Media and the epic state of ignorance and naivete of this country!

Added to that with the Americans leaving Afghanistan (Sort of) the “Taliban” can now direct all their attention to the other idiots who send in their troops with the US and the US doesn’t have to concede defeat while that happens and they can go on to better and more fruitful conquests such as Libya, Syria and Iran.

I haven’t found it in the New Zealand mainstream yet but Bamiyan where most of the New Zealand “Rebuilding” team was based just got a whole lot more dangerous as the “Taliban” beheaded a Politician and member of the Council was found beheaded.
The region was to be turned over to Afghanistan supervision in July. I guess that won’t happen now.

Jawad Zahaak was head of the provincial council in Bamiyan, seen as one of the country’s most peaceful areas and among the first wave of places to transition from Western to Afghan security control from around July.
He was kidnapped while travelling in the neighbouring province of Parwan on Saturday and his beheaded body was founded dumped near a main road, Parwan police chief Sher Ahmad Maladani told AFP.

And what a moment to announce these connections too! Just when John Key has been invited to watch the marriage of the two of the top parasites and more young men are needed to die in their godforsaken illegal wars of aggression and just when the plebs is dragged out of their beds in the morning to go through the “Lest we forget” farce keeping them under the illusion that their dead young men who died in their wars to monopolise the resources in countries of other people actually mean something. They don’t. To them the young men who die are just cattle to be send to slaughter in their wars of greed and destruction.
From Gallipoli to Afghanistan, from the thousands of young men send to die in a useless military action as conscripted soldiers to the boys send to Afghanistan to help “rebuild the country” and who will come back contaminated with Deadly depleted Uranium which is used to kill and destroy the local population for the next 4.5 billion years they mean absolutely nothing to the parasite class enjoying the spoils of war while our young die for Gold, Oil and the Drugs they sell to them when they come home broken and traumatised.
And until the families and villages from whence those who volunteer for their missions of destruction came and mourn them for the ignorant, naive and honest suckers they were, wars will rage around the globe and vain, narcissistic, greedy men like John Key will steal names from war gravestones to bestow upon themselves honour they don’t deserve, from those who died for their wealth while celebrating each others marriages and successes laughing al the way to the bank about the stupidity of those who died to allow them to live in lap of luxury.
While my good friends at the Standard still think that Afghanistan is a good war and Libya was invaded to “liberate” the Libyan people while some of them think that Iraq was the wrong war even thought the rationale for invading that country was also liberating the Iraqi people from their “oppressor” let me point out to you that all these countries have been contaminated with huge amounts and I mean thousands of tons of “depleted” uranium.
So while you contemplate our liberating efforts with the US and NATO and our government secretly sends armoured vehicles to our brave boys in Bamiyan who are there to help the people “rebuild” their country after the “Taliban” consider this; why are we “liberating” these people with tons of Depleted Uranium which will start deforming and killing their population for the next 4.5 billion years?
